How the Nomination / Call for Entry Process Works

 Nominations / call for entry for The Modern Home Builders Awards Florida South 2026 are open to all contractors, luxury trades, and solution providers across the modern home building ecosystem. Anyone can submit a nomination, including the companies themselves, industry professionals, developers, or architectural consultants. 

Our awards are overseen by an Advisory Board, who help shape the categories and review nominations alongside Modern Home Builders editors.

You will be notified once the award categories are finalised and when the nomination / call for entry stage opens, including the submission deadline.

Once you have chosen a category to enter, we recommend preparing a 500-word entry outlining your company’s or product/service’s achievements and innovations.

 The Advisory Board and editors will be looking for detailed insights, including architectural innovation, coastal resilience execution, bespoke craftsmanship, integration of luxury amenities, and overall prestige. For design, specialized trade, and partner categories, entries should provide examples of exceptional artistry, premium service delivery, or visionary execution over the past year. 

Shortlisting

 Modern Home Builders' editors will work closely with our Advisory Board to review all submissions and ensure that all shortlisted companies, projects, and products meet the high standards and criteria for recognition in the South Florida market. 

Voting

Once the shortlist is finalised, our Modern Home Builders readership will be invited to vote.  Nominated companies are kindly asked not to vote for themselves, as these votes will not be counted. 

Winners Announcement

Winners of the The Modern Home Builders Awards Florida South 2026 will be notified and celebrated as part of a digital awards campaign, including a winners' report, editorial coverage, and social media promotion.
